Sunday, June 7, 2015. Two festivals in one weekend? Shawnee Mission Medical Center hosted its annual Strawberry Festival, and we were the first in line for the balloon guy so as to not have a repeat performance of last year. Balloon in hand, we then made our way to the face painters before enjoying some Kona ice and strawberry shortcake. A fake injury and a firetruck visit wrapped up a fun afternoon!
